Congratulations to our 2017 to 2019 cohort of Yoga Therapist trainees who have just completed three terms of on-campus course work and two off-campus practicums.
These 13 incredible women from around the globe came together through Yoga Therapy International’s 1000-hour program to learn the healing art of Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda and Yoga Philosophy as taught in the Krishnamacharaya-Desikachar lineage with contemporary influences from Iyengar Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Chair Yoga, Western Medicine/Psychology, Mindfulness Meditation, Business Practices, and so on. They comprise our third cohort and our biggest graduating CYT 1000-hr class yet!
Their highly skilled faculty is also international from Vancouver, California and India. Thank you to all of you including DV and Radha Sridhar, Viji Vasu, Neil Pearson, Tianne Allan, Danielle Schroeder, Robin Schroeder, Robin Armstrong, Bernie Clark, Todd Caldecott, Jaisri Lambert, Nicole Marcia, Martha Carter, Mary-Jo Fetterly, Baxter Bell, Amy Wheeler and Robin Gueth.
In September, they begin nine months of case study research and a practicum. Their graduation is expected in June 2019.
Thank you for being such an amazing group of students to teach! I look forward to seeing you continue to flourish over your final year.
